The Trade Math project
Trade Math was created to bring stock, option and futures calculators together in one place. Its purpose is to help users assess a trade as a whole, considering not only the possible outcome but also capital employed, commissions, risk, return and break-even levels.
Results are presented through summaries, scenarios and charts designed to make formulas easier to understand when trading platforms spread the relevant information across different screens and figures. Prices and costs remain separate to reduce ambiguity and double counting.
The website is free, requires no registration and does not provide signals, forecasts or investment recommendations. Trade Math is an analysis and learning tool: trading decisions, data verification and risk assessment always remain the user’s responsibility.
